Today I had the fantastic opportunity to dine at Balckberry Market at La Grange. The place has a retro meeting modern meets rustic look. One part of the dining area has the retrospective mosaic tile. The wall behind the counter has the exposed stone, while the lights above the counter is a shiny copper. Wood accents are scattered everywhere. The order position moved very quickly. When I came to the table, the Lord was very nice. He showed me where to fill up my coffee, asked if my chocolate warmed up croissant, and even brought me my croissant. After my croissant, I went back to order the turkey, the apple and the Gouda sandwich. Chocolate croissant: warm, buttery and flakey. The chocolate was rich and gooey. This is my favorite pastry. It reminds me to be in Paris. Drip Coffee: Brand Intelligentsia. Came very hot, but was smooth and brave. I added cinnamon to him. Turkey, Apple, Gouda Sandwich: was very good. It has the good turkey slices that remind me of Thanksgiving, many good cheese slices. Granny Smith apple slices, spring mix and a berry vinaigrette. It came with one side of spring mixed salad with the same Vinaiigrette that is on the sandwich. Everything was all so good! I really enjoyed coming here. I wish I lived closer, so I could come here every day.
