I took my family down south for the day and decided to stop and have something to eat at Blessed Cheese Cafe. The staff were friendly and the cafe had a nice ambience inside. Looking at the menu we were excited by the cheese platters. Being a cheese delicatessen I had high expectation for the $30 Blessed platter. It was a little disappointing though. An excessive amount of dried fruit versus the amount of cheese. Cheese was nice but not something that I'd go back for again.
Excellent place for a nice lunch with friends during the week, or with your significant other on the weekend. It's got everything my family and friends value and enjoy: nice food from gluten-free to gourmet, friendly staff, beautiful artwork on the walls, street view of the McLaren Vale Main Street, and of course perfect coffee. Very nice place!
Seriously don't know what the last reviewer was on about but the Blessed Cheese was excellent in all ways.Fanatsic food ( have the eggs benny for lunch ) toasted sandwiches, coffee etc were super yummy and very well priced!I loved the deliberate old looking decor, terrific service and so much better than the souless chain cafes!We will be back.
We flew into Adelaide on a very wet and overcast day, picked up a car and headed for McClaren Vale and Blessed Cheese.From the roadside it looked ordinary but inside was a warm oasis where Becky and her staff couldn't have been kinder. The coffee was very good, and our very late lunch of burgers beautifully presented and delicious. Réservez une table maintenant
A group of us did the cheese and wine trail. We thought it was great value for money with the amount of cheese and crackers in our bag. Most of the wineries we went to were very generous with the service size of wine given to us. Would highly recommend this trail.
Had high expectations for cheese tasting and sharing of local knowledge Menu poor. Poor service. Tired decor. Difficult access past hairdresser. Poor quality toilet down lane. Lavira Adele blue cheese excellent but had to ask for information. Expected more.
What a great spot for coffee and breakfast. We flew into Adelaide and came straight here for a late breaky. Great warm location. We got a table near the log fire. Lovely people and really nice food and coffee. Cheers.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch on a Public Holiday when half the others were not open. Burger was flavoursome and meat not too dense with lovely herbs mixed in the meat. Great range of cheeses available. Réservez une table maintenant
We popped in a Cheese Plate and enjoyed our visit. The wine was a bit disappointing but it was a cheese shope not a winery. Would go again.
