I had dinner here a few weeks ago with some friends.My one friend enjoyed his meal,while the other friend didn't like hers as much. The primary reason,though was that the seasonal vegetables weren't ones she liked. The staff were quick to replace them with another seasonal vegetable.My pasta dish was superb. It was rich,creamy, and al denté as it should be.I would order it again in a minute.The desserts were sublime, particularly the sorbet with raspberries. We had frequently enjoyed the Blu Duby downtown and we were very happy we tried the North London location. The restaurant is bright and airy with a nice open feeling. We had reservations on a Saturday evening for 730 pm, and were very surprised that the restaurant was not busy. Our server was Wendy and she was delightful. You must try her Korean Dumplings that she makes herself and are on the appetizer menu. Delicious! All four of us enjoyed our main choices - the food was served promptly, hot and decent sized portions. Londonlicious was on and one of us made this menu selection giving us a chance to sample the cheesecake which was delicious. We enjoyed our experinence and plan to return.
Had a fantastic dinner with friends. The charcuterie platter was excellent (including some lovely blue cheese, wonderful marinated olives, jam, etc.).The guys both had the duo of game (lamb shank and duck breast) with roasted beets and mashed potatoes) and the ladies both decided on the rack of lamb. Perfectly prepared all around.The wine list was good (we went with the McManus Cab)... no room for dessert.The service was fine and the ambience was nice.We did actually make the reservation at the other location (oops on my part, but we are not from London... so I will use that in my defence). Fortunately the two locations were in conversation and our friends drove over to join us!
we were in a party of 7 having a friends get together. we chose the north location for its easy access & parking. it also has the same menu & staff as the main downtown location. our menu choices were widely varied, and all were very well received, except the pad thai. my Mussels in a curry broth & the shrimp risotto were SO tasty. desserts were excellent. The atmosphere was a bit loud, due to the industrial look of hard surfaces everywhere, but not excessively so. Service & presentation were top notch. We went for our anniversary dinner and we were very disappointed with the food and service. We were sited by the kitchen in a small corner and staff were passing by non stop. It was very noisy place. We left the place hungry. I had set menu for Londonlicious and my husband had a duck and lamb combination and he was not happy with a meal at all. The bill was $120 for two of us with only one glass of wine.We will not return to this restaurant.
