Great local place! We we 're just passing by on the way to Charlotte when we stumbled upon Blue Daisy Cafe and glad we did! It 's a quaint place with lots of entertaining signs on the walls but the food is fresh and wonderful. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was incredibly juicy. My daughter had the Bacon Cheeseburger and same... it was nice and juicy... My other daughter had the Crispy Chicken Fingers and it had great flavor, not dry (trying not to use juicy again with an awesome crispy coating. My favorite restaurant without a doubt! The chefs here truly know their way around the kitchen. The food is absolutely delicious. The biscuits are light and fluffy—everything a biscuit should be. The best part? The service makes you feel like you're at a friend's home. The staff is incredibly friendly! You should definitely give it a try; it's worth the trip!
This place has a lot of character and very reminiscent of the old southern café coffeeshop-type place. Very much loved it I ordered a cheeseburger all the way. The meat in the patties were sufficiently cooked and all the ingredients in the burger were of high-quality the only thing that could stand to be improved were the buns; they fell apart quite easily.
One of our SC crew members recommended the Blue Daisy Cafe and was he ever right. All home cooked menu and friendly service. You will be treated as family not just as a customer. Try the ham and cheese sandwich and you?ll come away smiling. I cans say enough good things about this genuine southern restaurant.
