Warning!!!! This motel doesn't have enough parking. They have only 8 parking spots at the back with 25 guest rooms. I was told by the reception that I could park on the street in front of the hotel after 6pm. I had to be out till 6pm so I could park the car in the front of the hotel. The road was busy even after 6pm and the parking in front of the hotel is located just after the traffic light. The drivers were beeping at me because I blocked the line but where else I could park? I stayed in the motel for 4 nights and every evening it was same story with the parking. The back stairs from the road were not lit and after dark you really have to watch your step especially when it's raining. No l...
The Blue Hills Motel is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, as well as excellent service. I mistakenly left my AirPods in my room and only realized once I was at the airport ready to head home. Stone, the staff member, kindly found them for me and sent them to me free of charge. He also assisted us with our check-in even though we arrived late. I am very thankful for the amazing staff at this establishment. The housekeeping services were also excellent, with the rooms being cleaned daily. The motel is conveniently located in the heart of Hobart, making it a great choice for accommodation. the best of this motel is the location, it is only 10-15 minutes to foot to salamanca or the cbd and battery point is just 5 minutes. the rooms are quite simple. I booked a budget room, but I expected something better than what it was. furniture very worn, no night lamp and shower had not even a shower curtain. the appliances in the bathroom looked surprisingly almost new, but I'm not even sure they were installed from a profi and up to code. in the shower, the covers left a gap to the wall and when I tried to bring the shower head into a straight position, it was unscrewed from the pipe.
Okay for a short stay, maybe. The room was adequate, the motel is in a great location. No shower curtain or screen in the bathroom, and the tiles were broken so water flowed out over the bathroom floor. The kettle was faulty and kept tripping the circuit breakers, so the power points stopped working. Wifi was dismal. I'd stay again if it were the cheapest option and the trip was only for a few days, otherwise better to find somewhere else. Réservez une table maintenant
Avoid Blue Hill Motel Sandy Bay Rd. Battery Point. I stayed for 2 nights last week and the room was so TERRIBLE that I cancelled the last 2 nights and seek accommodation elsewhere though I had already paid for it. I ended up losing 1 night's charges. The room on the top floor, RM 21 is Third World Standard. Poorly equipped. Bathroom shocking. No lifts. I like to warn everyone to seriously reconsider staying.
they have called to ask about the parking lot before we have booked, and they told us there are no baptisms, but they can park for free on the street on Friday 6 o'clock until Monday. while we looked at some other accommodations they booked for the night, but they were nice enough to call us and to give us a divorce. very good customer service!
Situated in a great location. Rooms are very outdated but adds character. However, I was really disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Air vent was severely covered in dust. No toilet paper and after trying to contact service numerous times we were not given any. Nothing fancy by any means but does the job for a short stay
The blinds in the room didnt close, the floors in the room hadn't been swept, there were black specs on the bed, the room was freezing, there was trash in the drawers, the showers are inaccessible for disabled guests and there was no smoke detectors in the room.
