Bobby Van's 230park

Was in town and accidentally booked reservations at another Bobby Vans restaurant and came to this one instead. The host understood my error, smiled and sat us immediately for dinner. Our server was super personable, polite and funny! The food was delicious and came out quickly we ordered calamari for appetizers, sirloin steak and Chilean seabass with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes for dinner, and my daughter had chicken Parmesan with a small side of pasta noodles. A little on the pricey side for the steak (I’m from Texas so it’s much cheaper at home )but totally worth it! Great food, great service, chill atmosphere.

Awesome food , awesome service but the compulsory tip at the end for 20 percent Really ruined the atmosphere For the owner, pay your staff a fair wage and get rid of the compulsory tip in the bill. It just cheapens the night out. Edit I am not fussed about tipping, it’s putting a compulsory tip in the bill. Most decent restaurants in the USA don’t put compulsory tips in the bill. So like I said, a compulsory tip in the bill just cheapens the atmosphere. It’s out right cheap

Simply the best steak house in Manhattan. Best food, best service. Killer wine list. great location. Energetic vibe. Awesome bar.

Extraordinario, nunca falla. El porterhouse es impresionante! El mesero nos recomendó un vino excelente.

Excellent as usual. Good and staff was amazing. One of my faves in NY.
