Last night my boyfriend and I decided to go to Tango Sur for our anniversary which is usually a great experience but this time it was unforgivably horrific. We did not make a reservation so we knew we had to wait. Once we reserved our spot, the man in the front told us it would be a 1 and 1/2 hour wait. We walked around, enjoyed the walk and waited. Love this place, food is 5 star… Organization and staff… Not so much. I called a week and a half prior to my birthday to reserve a table and was told they were not taking reservations for that day yet, so I cled 6 days in advance and was told that that day would be a walk in service and they were not taking reservations. Nothing bad to share! Food was excellent! Service was friendly and prompt. Skip the so called high end steak place downtown and get a more unique and in my opinion better meal for less than you would spend at those cookie cutter places. Truly was great. BYOB and share with your waiter.
Flavorful meat in a dark loud space. Great service and BYOB! salads are very solid. Really fresh appetizers with eggplant and hearts of palm! Good to call ahead but not too busy for a week night. The meat is so good you'll want to chew the fat!

Quite possibly the best steak I have ever eaten. And the flan was a little creamy pillow of decadence. And I didn't even know I liked flan. The prices are very reasonable and the service was great. A very wonderful dining experience.
Bad service from “host” Pablo, who rude and impolite with my mother in law; then insulted me as I requested him to be polite. Terrible and expensive plates. Not an original Argentinean place.
Excellent steaks that’s grass fed without breaking your bank. A great meal esp after a cubs game. We walked over after and we were extremely pleased with the experience
Been here multiple times over the years and it does not disappoint! I would have them in the same conversation with any steakhouse down town. And it's BYOB!
