We like to fish late. By the time we get offcajun pasta the lake (about 9:00pm) and clean up, every other restaurant in town is closed, and the LOW Brewing Company closes it's kitchen at 10:00 pm. So we tried this place 2 night's in a row. The first night we had 3 topping pizza, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and onions, a home run, served by Gayle, who was a superb waitress. The pizza was as good as it gets, and I mean really really great. The second night I had Jamalaya pasta, and it was absolutely Scrumotious. Went to BP on hockey day in Canada. Beautiful day. Went for lunch and I ordered a burger and fries and my wife order a personal Pizza and we shared a salad. The meals came out and my fries were room temperature (I returned them) and my burger which I ordered with Cheddar cheese was luke warm. When I ordered my burger I asked if there was a cheese option as the menu did not specify and she said there was. The cheese was added as an after though as it was not melted on during the frying of the burger, so room temp cheese on a luke warm burger. I guess I should have listened to my wife and not order a burger at a pizza joint. The only reason for 2 stars was because the beer was cold.
I visited with my family and after we placed our order we were told that they are all out of mozzarella cheese and subsequently had to change our order. She then followed up that they were also out of green onions. We had a similar experience last summer when we visited and after we ordered and waited a hefty amount of time were told that they were all out of spaghetti. After waiting another ten minutes, they told us they were all out of fettuccini. This Boston Pizza is not prepared for their customers, and don't seem to be able to keep track of their inventory or to try to resolve their issues.
I took my daughter and her 2 month old and my niece and her 2 year old and 8 month old there... the waitress was very rude to us.. I had asked her for a booth and she insisted on a table with 4 chairs... I insisted the corner table was like a booth she has said what if I get a big group. I'm sorry lady but it's 3 adults and 3 kids we are a big group after the disagreement we got to sit at the corner table. I felt rushed with the kids and she was not nice to us but I insisted on leaving her a good tip... maybe that brightened up her day. I do not recommend this place.. Réservez une table maintenant
Place is cozy however in town like Kenora it will be nice if restaurant had outdoor seating...Food, well, as in the title, I am sucker for punishment and I do not know why I am coming back...I did not enjoy their pizza as being tasteless and bland.Pizza dough is OK but the rest leaves lot to desire...AK
