"I can’t even count how many tile I have eaten here, but at least once a year. I’ve never been disappointed. Yes, the galettes/crêpes are a bit more expensive but the choices and fractions are no where else to be found. The view is beautiful as well. A must try!"

The name is misleading as the café is on the ground floor, but the (small) restaurant is on the first floor. It has an excellent reputation and you need to reserve well in advance. For our dinner, we were presented with a no-choice menu of 6 dishes comprising vegetarian, fish and meat dishes; the menu is in Japanese and French. Food is a ‘fusion’ of Japanese and French cuisine and quite novel. Quantities were modest but adequate, service was good and well-paced. The food was nicely presented, and each dish explained to us. The shock is the cost: for 4 people, including apéritifs, half a bottle of wine, and teas/coffees the bill came to an eye-watering £450. You have been warned!
C'est une crêperie populaire en bord de mer à Cancale, alors si vous pouvez réserver, faites-le. La crêperie était la mieux notée de la ville, nous avons donc décidé de l'essayer. Cependant, nous avons découvert qu’il est également nettement plus cher sans être tellement meilleur que les autres. Les galettes maison coûtent près de 15 euros, ce qui est le territoire des prix parisiens. Même si la galette était bonne, elle n’était pas fantastique et certainement pas fantastique à 15 euros. Ajoutez à cela les marges énormes sur le cidre et l'ambiance horrible dans la salle à manger, j'ai mangé ma galette et je suis parti au plus vite. Je ne peux pas imaginer y retourner.
J'ai visité ici pendant les vacances et j'ai été très impressionné. La nourriture était délicieuse et tout le personnel était très serviable et sympathique et s'occupait très bien de ma famille. Les crêpes étaient exceptionnelles et je n'hésiterais pas à recommander ce café à tout moment !
Didn't go to Breizh Cafe in Paris because we knew we were going to Cancale. After having oysters at the market we went to Breizh for lunch to have crepes. When in Paris we usually go to their restaurant in the Marais. This is the place to go for crepes and cider to accompany the meal.
