"I have wanted to visit here for a long time and it was worth the wait. Well priced, fresh and tasty Japanese. We agreed 4 dishes: tempura prawns, dumplings, sushi and age dashi. All were great . The tofu was the best I have ever...had."

This is the selection of a large pile... for healthy, clean delicious food... You must choose this little place!! My daughter was in a show near... so unusual I had some time in my sleeve. After in vain travel advisor En Ya looked like the best bet!... It is a quirky little place... 'Loch in the wall' as someone else described it is Spot on!! Anyway, I hope I have the pleasure to go back to this beautiful part of Sydney when I "I would like to go back there!! It is very casual and simply the peeps here are oh so friendly and the food nourishing, tasted so good!! Try the tempura and soba noodle soup... for about $16 it was perfect for a cool night. I bought the stirring fry vege with Udon noo...

This is my favorite small Japanese restaurant in Sydney, as it does not pretentious, not expensive, but serves great simple Japanese cuisine at good prices. Since I would like to try out a variety that I have worked a few times through the menu, but there are always specials to add this, some seem to be advertised only on the wall in Japanese, but an inquiry to the staff about an interesting looking dish that is served to someone will always get an answer. It is worth keeping your eyes peeled!

Here on a recommendation with an extended family with two small children (1,3) and the service was amazing. They were so friendly, courteous and attentive to our children. The food was great, better than average and with the exception of a few dishes it was... very valuable. We ate many dishes while we shared everything, and for me the fog eggplants, Agadiashi Tofu and Tempura were the best, but nothing was under par.

Very recommended if you like small, family type Japanese restaurants. Friendly and efficient staff, nice food, fast service. Daily specialties, vegetarian options, sake and plum wine, black sesameis. Bento is good with different choices and satisfactory meal. Just about 5 tables. Not open on Mondays.
