This was our second visit to the restaurant, and it didn't disappoint. There was quite a line in the parking lot and at the entrance, which set the tone for our experience. Today, we tried the pancakes with a side of sliced bananas, eggs Benedict with home fries, and coffee. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and delicious, while the eggs Benedict was also quite good. The restaurant is known for its extravagant dishes and shakes, which are definitely not for the faint of heart.
I ordered the fried chicken and waffles, but I substituted the regular fried chicken pieces for chicken strips, and that was a HUGE MISTAKE! The waffles were good as usual, but the chicken was absolutely terrible! For some reason, it was served on a bed of shredded lettuce, which made the breading soggy and just made things worse. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this order. This dish is usually my favorite, and it's always been a 10 out of 10 until today!
First time trying the Brownstone and I just say... absolutely mind blowing!! All of the flavors with the omelette very tasteful. Right portions of veggies and cheese within the omelette and the franchises toast had fresh bananas on it.... you all will never be disappointed if you order from here!!!!!!!! Love love love it now since have to dine in person!!
I had the breakfast combo and added the home-fried potatoes. There was plenty of bacon, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were fantastic. The portions were very satisfying. I can't wait to return for the pancakes and ice cream! Réservez une table maintenant

This is the best diner in Bergenfield! I've dined here many times and have never had a bad experience. The staff are all very friendly, and the food is outstanding!
