it was over to meet with a buddy. the atmosphere was a good bar/sub type with a lot of patrons around the bar with some seem like regular. the personal was friendly and accommodating. our drinks and eating came fast and everything was very good. I had the brezel as an app that was very soft and warm and I had the jersey burger. it was boiled exactly right and the fried egg was simply gooey enough without being too dirty. I and my friend have been looking for a good half point between us to meet and I'm pretty sure tonight we found one. I'm back in a definitiw.
Brought a group of teachers and Dylan was so accommodating to us and set us up outside on the patio right under the heat lamps. It was a great atmosphere and friendly staff. We were all able to enjoy happy hour drinks and then ordered different items. The pepperoni puffs are delicious. The wings crispy. The short rib grilled cheese is one of my favorites! We had a blast and will be back again!
Our first time and it was fantastic. From hostess station to servers, the service was great. Our servers Anthony and Miriam were attentive, friendly and efficient. Bar pie was on the spot. Clean, large amount, plenty of seating, TVs and the menu offers something for everyone. We will return!
On my trips back to NJ from upstate NY, it's all I can think about. However, last time there, May 7, I was very disappointed in my bar pie...

The short rib of grilled cheese is soooo good. I tried a few in the other restaurant and nothing hits this.
My husband and I live a quick 10 minutes away from The Grove, where we always enjoy a delicious meal.
