We visited for Mothers Day and had the Sunday rib special. Buy one dinner for $22.00 get the second rib dinner for $6.00. The ribs were fall,of the bone with a smokey flavour. They come with big cooked to perfection onion rings and your choice of potato, mash, baked so fries. My daughter had chicken tenders and Caesar salad. We were a group of 12 20-something year olds and had Fallon as our server. First of all, she was so accommodating to our party when we needed a bigger table (because we unexpectedly had mlre people join) and made us feel as if we were not inconveinencomg her AT ALL!!! I'm been a fan of Bugsys for 30 years, i stay a fan due to the wings and beer selection, both are St Catharines finest and believe me i give every challenger a fair shot. The service lately has dropped off huge. The place is popular for a reason, food takes 30-45 minutes, please offer a second drink, please ask if i need anything else, just ask!The newer girls are friendly enough but not very good, if i go up to ask for something that you have not offered, give it to me, don't say , i'll bring it right over while i wait for you, i'm ovbviously annoyed already. Maybe the owners need to expand to a second location as they have a winning food/alcohol combo.
You got the half car on the wall and all that but with upgraded tv screens. You've got that sentimental atmosphere and bar and grill faire and the casual servers that don't hound you to death - the food and service is pretty dependable. The place is fairly large and they get busy, but the few occasions I have needed adjustments, they have been willing and cool to be sure I am not disappointed. I tend to order from my favourites: Rueben, beef on a bun, pizza, gangster burger and Rickard's on tap. It's comfortable. It can get loud too so if you or your guests have any hearing issues they may be able to find a quieter room for you.
I do not get back to the city often, but when I do I make it a point to eat at least one meal at this establishment. Their menu offers many choices that will ensure that everyone in your party should find something to eat. The portions of the servings are generous and I often leave with a take away container for later snacking. The wait staff are exceptional in their manner and their service. With a word, they make sure that I want for nothing. If you are into beer, you will not be disappointed by the selection of brews that are available at any given time. I am all ready looking forward to my next visit.
We stumbled across this pub dining establishment recently and glad for it. The atmosphere, food and service is excellent. A huge array of menu items. Best pizza I've had in many years. Have now gone back for burgers, wings, clubhouse sandwich. It never disappoints me. They have daily specials also. Pub bar type setting with Tv's everywhere.Can get a little loud at times. Would recommend to anyone as an alternative to big box restaurants. Also kid friendly
We were here for St. Paddy's Day 2017 and had a group of six people. We had to wait a little while to get in, but that was to be expected - it's St. Paddy's Day. We had a great platter of Nachos with Beef that was excellent, followed by a few pounds of Wings. The wings were large, hot, cooked perfect...Beers were green and cold. The Guinness was delicious as was the Silversmith's Black Lager. Love this place!
