The problem started when our main didn't arrive 30 minutes after finishing our queso and the waitress came over and asked us how are meals were. Are you kidding me? We watched her walk over to the manager after watching her look at our ticket and entering it into the system. It was clear she forgot to even place our main with the kitchen. I have dined at the Butcher stand at the LIC flea multiple times and finally had the chance to visit their restaurant in Astoria. The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and was very cozy. We ordered the burnt ends sandwich and the Monster (a combination of pulled pork and brisket), both of which were delicious. They were served with pickles, cole slaw, and cornbread (which was excellent!). We also had mac and cheese as a side, which was tasty but could have been a bit warmer. I have eaten several times at the Butcher stand on the LIC-Flea and finally died to try the restaurant in Astoria. The restaurant has a great ambience and was very comfortable. We tried the burned ends sandwich and the monster (50/50 pulled pig and brisket, both were excellent. They came with pimples, Cole Slav and corn bread (excellent! . Also the Mac and cheese had for one side that was very good, but could have been a little hotter. Nice choice of beers on tap. Our server Betty was very friendly and offers excellent service. A manager also stopped by to make sure everything was okay, which I always find to be a nice touch. Will definitely come back soon!

The decor is warm and inviting. Plenty of room between tables. The service was attentive and friendly. Our burgers (veggie and bacon burgers) were substantial and cooked exactly the way we ordered them. Served with a side of slaw (a bit too much dressing) and pickles. The bacon burger guy would have liked a side of fries; odd that they weren't a standard accompaniment. Good selection of beers and wines. Very reasonably priced as well. Definitely worth another trip!
This restaurant not only serves meat dishes but also has a diverse menu. During our lunch visit, it was relatively peaceful, but I assume it becomes more bustling during the evening hours. The food we ordered was decent, although I would have preferred my burger cooked rare, but they only offer it medium. We did not try anything from the main menu, but it seems to have intriguing options worth trying.
This is a device that also sells meat. It was quiet when we went for lunch, but I can imagine it's busy at night. Our meals were fine, although they cook the Burger Medium and I rarely prefer what does not seem an option. We didn't try the main menu that looks like it's worth exploring.
Very good BBQ. Enjoyed the wings, ribs and chicken. Great atmosphere clean, accomidating and great service.
