All in all, ??. I can only make minor complaints. Fries weren't that hot (temp), but I like them really hot. The Nashville chicken sandwich wasn't that hot (spicy) either, but I like it really hot! Cucumber salad was delicious! Nice big chunks of crunchy cucumber with dill. Mac& cheese was really creamy. Yams were cut a bit too thick for me, but i don't really like yams. Green beans were great! Hush puppies were a bit too deep fried for my wife, but I loved them! Definitely be going back. Still have to try pie and ice cream!
Had an excellent experience at Butchies for lunch with a girlfriend. Been here numerous occasions and ordered take out. Today was Taco Tuesday- Andrea made it a point to check in with all her guest. I wanted to order take out tacos for my husband and she spotted me in the long line, and offered to personally take care of my order and bring it to my table! She didn’t have to do that but it was much appreciated, just wanted to share how great the food is here and Andrea is an amazing owner and chef! Thank you!!
Great food, friendly staff and a fun picnic style seating setup out back! Highly recommend. Chicken fingers were an absolute all time favourite! And the country fried steak my partner has was great! Prices are mostly fair for the quality and portion. But $7.50 for a plain chocolate shake felt pretty excessive. My only gripe though! Highly recommend Butchies!!!
By our BBQ standards (which are extremely high), Butchies super delivers on delicious smokey ribs and yummy fixings. I have been searching the world for the best Strawberry milkshake and I will go as far as to say that you are very close to being #1 on my list. The staff seem enthusiastic, the food is not standard fare. I found interesting things that also tasted good on the menu. Be prepared to wait 20 plus minutes for your order if you just stop in randomly. I found the portions both main and all sides to be on the small side with every and all things I’ve ordered.
This was my first visit to Butchie's and I absolutely loved it! The hush puppies are really good. But.....if you like spicy, the Hot Nashville Chicken Sandwich is for you. There is absolutely no skimping on the chicken or the spicy! I can't wait to come back again!!!!!
