I met up up with my computer guru in Kelowna for Happy Hour. A lot of business was covered. Our server Nicole was awesome. Her service and the food servers were exceptional. After our initial Happy Hour choices she was able to recommend other drinks for us to try. The Mezcal, El Camino, and Polynesian Margaritas were yummy. I would have preferred them a little stronger. Go for the double. The menu offerings met the standard we’ve come accustomed to in other Cactus Clubs. Some guy named Dave beat us to the last piece of lava cake. The peanut butter crunch dessert was good too. I highly recommend a visit here in the evening.
I was at this place last night with my family for my Mom's birthday. We ordered Ravioli+prawn as well as pesto chicken quesadilla for starter and they were both great choices to be shared by four. Our server Brayden was a bit too busy or distracted because she forgot to bring us plates for appetizers or even napkins. We also had to request for utensils. The main food though was great except for my dad's steak that was fully raw instead of med rare. The reason why we chose this location over the downtown one was because of the bad reviews on the service but the service here was just as bad.
Lunch experience was great. Staff were all very friendly. Our server, Chloe, was very pleasant and it was refreshing to have a server that was true to who she was. We had the Cajun chicken Caesar and chicken tenders. I would say these were the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Not greasy, still juicy and tender on the inside and crispy panko on the outside. Fries were delicious and salty. Caesar greens were fresh and crisp as well with a tasty dressing. All around a great experience.
Fantastic patio! We highly recommend the outdoor dining experience. There are fans with mist to keep you cool, umbrellas for shade, and good patio furniture. We were very pleased with our dinner service and food quality. Menu app via QR is slick and easy to use. You can see a picture of every menu item. Staff were top notch. We went to Cactus Club Cafe for dinner with our daughter that it’s starting at UBC Okanagan. We’re dropping her off and waiting to see if she settling in well. We had Truffled fries and Tina Stack to start. Drinks were Rose Sangria and Longboard Lager beer. Main courses were: Teriake Chicken Rice Poke Bowl, Steak Frites and Lemongrass Noodle salad, And for desert, New York cheesecake. Excellent service.
So I’m from Ontario but do find myself in Kelona often. I really love Western Canada cause they have great restaurants like the Cactus Club. If you’re looking for a casual slightly upscale restaurant this one’s worth checking out. The serving staff is excellent the food presentation and preparation are what I would consider very good. Today I had the fish tacos. I would highly recommend this place.
Great food and friendly staff, the steak I had was superb (unfortunately I divulged it to quickly to photograph it) and my co-dinners also had some great looking and tasting food! If you live in Kelowna or live in the area, or just on vacation skiing in Big White (like i was) it's defiantly worth going to.
This Kelowna location was absolutely perfect on all counts. My daughter and I enjoyed the 4 mushroom steak and coho salmon dinner immensely. Service was exceptional. Atmosphere was classy yet relaxed. I can't recommend this restaurant enough! Well worth your time and money! I was extremely impressed. Réservez une table maintenant
No matter where you go, the food is always consistent and you know you are going to have a good meal. The ambiance here was great. Ashley our server was amazing and super friendly and accommodating. As always the Blackened Cajun Chicken Cheddar sandwich reigned supreme.
