Cafe & Brauhaus Zur Muhle

What can you expect from a place that is obviously a tourist trap? My husband and I were sitting here to have coffee and cake. The cream on my cappuccino was cold, man Black Wing cherry cake was lazy, which is a good thing, but nothing special. I had an ice cream with canned cries. They charge 6 euros for a simple milkshake. Hm. It would have been good if at least the service had been nice, but it wasn't. Grumpy waiter, slow service, zero welcome. I'm sure there are better places in the area.

We went to this restaurant in a group of 7. Even though it wasn't particularly busy the service was really slow, inattentive and they always forgot some of the orders. Food was not too bad, meat a bit overcooked but well, some might like it that way - overall a rather disappointing experience.

Was here as part of my tour-group lunch. Had a generous serving of pork knuckle! Had the German sausage as well which was delicious! The black forest cake (dessert) was not up to expectation though. Waiters are fast and responsive. Nice ambience though.

Had our lunch here during our visit to Titisee and I would say that the pork knuckle, pork roast marinated in beer, spatzle, black forest cake and german beer are really good: Great service and friendly staffs too, Highly recommended.

We had to wait very long for our goulashsoup (wich was nice) and our youngest son had to wait even langer for his pasta. Food was good but survice was unprofessional. If you’re not Chinese whit lot’s off money, you’re busted.

Avoid this place if you don’t like: precooked dishes cabbage from a can, dumplings from potato powder and a very unfriendly service. Prices are high for the quality and service you get. The service speaks little German

good and simple local food and lots of beers and wine by the glass. service is friendly and quick. prices are reasonable and the location is just a bit away from centre.

Since we are in Germany, one has to try the pork knuckle here. The fries and sauerkraut is tasty too. Wash that all down with the local beer to wrap up the meal.

Maybe pig ankles aren't for me. Maybe it was okay here. But for me it was really porky and fat. The smell is something that is not used to everyone.

We arrive late but still serve cafe and cake. The applestrudel is recommended.If you like big cafe ask for Milkcafe and not cappuccino
