Cafe Colonial - Réservation de table

the food was good. the waitress needs training for the public. we have set ourselves and never asked if we want to drink. ask for our food order and go away. Eat came in a reasonable time frame, we had to ask for drinks. one of the things I did not care about is that they contain the tipp and if they don't look right on the bill, they will tap them twice, they won't tell them that. tips should not be required after the service if they are not satisfied with the service. therefore they do not go out of this because they know that their tip is already included. even if they pay with the card, they add 3.99% to their card, this caffe is not protected again.

The food was enjoyable, but the service could use some improvement. The waitress seemed inexperienced in handling customers, as she didn't ask about drinks and walked away after taking our food order. While the food arrived promptly, we had to remind her about our drinks. One issue was that the tip was automatically added to the bill, which could lead to unintentionally tipping twice. Customers should be able to decide on the tip based on the quality of service received, rather than feeling obligated to tip regardless of satisfaction.

June 8, 2022, 11months ago I was there. Today I was there and the food was great and the service by Erica was great. What I found out very disturbing was that the 18% tip was included in the bill. The first bill given was the total for the food. I left cash tip of $23.00 for server who did an excellent job. I just called a few minutes when I got home and was told can't reverse tip but can give me the cash back. As a business owner it doesn't make sense. I will not be going

Update 2022 They really improved things. The Caribbean chicken is still good but they're using smaller pieces then they used to. The rice with pigeon peas is excellent. Service is a lot better. The beef stew is soft now but it doesn't have a lot of vinegar like carribean food usually does. update 9/2019 My last 3 delivery experiences were terrible. I received plaintain raw still part pink inside, i eat green Banana (guinero) often this times it seems like it was slow Réservez une table maintenant

A nice food I like that sometime I'm going to New York I think that's my new Latin restaurant in the Bronx, we ordered passionfruit Mojito and Mofongo and White. ???????? also Master Barber CT we do a collaboration with anyone and we do support small and big business.

The service at this restaurant is outstanding, preserving traditional cultural dishes. The portion sizes are generous and delicious. It's a wonderful spot to bring either your family or for a romantic date night.

We had a nice lunch at Cafe Colonial. The food was good. The outside seating area was clean and inviting. The waitress, Odalis, was welcoming, and attentive.
