Very unpleasant staff. Very slow service. Mediocre food, poor value. Very hot inside restaurant. Too expensive for the experience and atmosphere. Trash accumulates in the area near the tables set up in the breezeway. There are too many other restaurants in the area that provide a pleasant experience and make you feel like your business is appreciated. People visit for the gelato, which is okay, but not real gelato. Favorite flavors often not available, and gelato was already melting when served. Temperature in gelato case too warm. Avoid.
Delicious and quaint My friend and I stopped in here to get out of the rain, and didn't expect much. We ordered a Cuban sandwich and a Ruben, as well as some hot chocolate to warm us up. There isn't much seating and its odd that you pay up at a counter, but it's a very nice place The food was fantastical and much better than expected! The Ruben especially was exceedingly good (although we held the sauerkraut). And the hot chocolate was the cherry on top, loved it here and will definitely stop by again!
Happened upon this place as we strolled through Old Town and lunchtime arrived. Turned out to be a stroke of luck. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, and service was efficient and friendly. The background music was a series of gentle jazz tunes from a variety of eras, and I probably would have loved the place even if the food had been so-so. I was so reluctant to leave that I had some delicious gelato as dessert as an excuse to stay and enjoy the ambiance even longer.
Stopped here for a quick lunch yesterday. Very pleasantly surprised with the selection. From a glass of wine to THE best sweet tea ever. My friend and I shared the Mona Lisa panini and it was great! The proprietor (dark haired man) exudes happiness and has such a wonderful smile. The kind of business you’d search out because of extreme kindness, welcoming aura and quality food. We’d happily return here again. Thanks so much!

Visited on a hot Tuesday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. Got a table and got some delicious gelato as we waited for our food. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! They have a ton of different flavors of gelato (all of them fresh and amazing) and their sandwiches are just as great. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat or are looking for a place to rest in air conditioning
My daughter and I went for lunch on a super hot busy day. The workers were very friendly and accommodating. Service was fast despite how busy it was. We both had paninis and they were delicious! I got one to go for my son and when we walked it home to him he said it was the best sandwich he had yet. Very hard working staff with a great attitude
The Gelato was incredible! We had it twice in one day. That was a first for me. Hazelnut is to die for. Best I ever had. Service at the Gelato counter was great. Service in restaurant could be improved on. Bit slow and not overly friendly. Owner take note. But the food made up for it. Ordered the Portabello Panini. Super! Will be back.
wonderful little bistro! chef was very interesting about vegan items, and even the bakery they get the brot of reviewing it was vegan! the chef makes the sherbet from the ground up and they are also vegan. If I could make 5 stars, I would!

the vermont panini without cheese was quite unfavorable. it was a simple tasting with random bites of spicy. even the spicy bites had no real taste. had not the chance to try their desserts, but could come back for them.
The gelato tastes really good. Very rich flavors and the consistency feels like the traditional italian gelato. If you are looking for a fresh and sweet treat, definitely check this place out!
