Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe

Cammies Old Dutch is not the same. I have been taking my kids to Cammie's Old Dutch for at least 7 years, in fact we usually drive from Fairhope to West Mobile for her Ice cream.. But the last couple of times we were there it was not the same, and this last time,the overall quality is just been declining... This last time I almost drove back to complain directly to her. The sorbet was grainy and pure sugar and the Birthday cake Ice cream was waxi and flavorless.That is really a bummer too, I guess our family may have to find another local shoppe to frequent. :

Just Can't Get Enough. Best ice cream shop I have ever visited. <br/ <br/ The shakes are delicious and, if you dine in, you won't be able to finish it as they give you a steel cup full of shake in addition to the traditional glass.<br/ Great place for kids. Mine especially enjoys the shoe/ball game.<br/ <br/ The staff is eager to help and it's not unusual for Cammie to stop in and tell you about the new flavors she is dreaming up.

The pistachio ice cream has significantly improved, and while the service could still use some enhancement, it's overall a fantastic place to visit! During my last visit, the display coolers looked a bit lacking in cleanliness, but it was an exceptionally busy day, so I hope they take the time to clean them at the end of the night.

The Real Cream in Ice Cream. After my Butch burger, I walked over for an ice cream cone. Located on the corner, a bright yellow building you cannot miss it. When you walk in it has the old style ice cream parlor that I remember as a kid. The staff and owner are very welcoming. Réservez une table maintenant

It may not be fancy, but it offers some of the best childhood memories. The ice cream is delicious, and the experiences are unforgettable. My parents brought me here when I was young, and I hope my kids will remember it too and someday bring their own children.

Cammies Old Dutch Homemade Ice Cream. I stop by Cammie's every chance I get, even in the winter, because I love their homemade ice cream concoctions and because they are the nicest people you'll ever meet.
