The rice and beans were decent, though it's hard to go wrong with them. However, the chicken and asparagus tamale was quite disappointing. There was an excessive amount of masa compared to the filling, which consisted of only a few small pieces of asparagus, and the shredded chicken was dry and lacking in flavor. The tortilla soup was also underwhelming, as its flavor was mainly just salty.
The tamales are absolutely delicious, and the food is always fresh. I find myself craving it all the time! I was planning to place an order tonight, but unfortunately, they are closed. I'll definitely be supporting them once they're open again. Their pico de gallo and tacos are exceptional!
I can't say enough good things about my experience here. The food was delicious. The owners were great and we laughed a lot. Entering the restaurant, you don't feel like you are in the city. I was transported to a little place in Mexico. Réservez une table maintenant
