Candelario's Pizzeria has become a near once-a-week stop for my girlfriend and I. This is our favorite pizza place in Berwyn even after trying others in the area. Although this review only has a picture of the Buffalo Chicken pizza (large), we have tried maybe 5 others from the Specialty section of the menu; some of our other favorites are the Philly Cheesesteak pizza and Chicken Ranch pizza. The crust is always cooked to the perfect thickness, never getting too thin or soggy in the middle of the pie. The staff is friendly and personable, and I highly recommend them to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.
I was raised to finish what was put in front of me and pizza in the '50 's was considered a treat, so you had to eat the crust also. I relocated to Newtown Square seven years ago and became obsessed in finding the right combination of my favorite style and above all the crust. Mine must be soft, tender, puffed, and distinct. I found a couple of three stars however I 've found a four point plus and almost a five. Candelario 's just became my 'go to '.
Tried a new place using GrubHub. Ordered a plain pizza and a veggie pizza at about 8:45. At 9:30, the delivery was pushed back to 10:30. I was then notified that they just wouldn?t be able to fulfill the order at all, but my bank account would be credited within 5 days. I could understand this if I ordered 10 pies and lived a half hour away.
Candelario’s helped me with two catering orders over the past 2 weekends. The food was outstanding and the guests raved about the food. Ordering was easy over the phone, food was ready on time and warm (ready to serve), and manager was helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to order from them again soon!

Very nice people here. My husband and son had a pizza with extras cheese and said it was delicious. We also had fries and I got a salad. The salad was a little skimpy for the price, but was still very good. We will definitely go back when/if we are in the area again.

Went for a slice of cheesecake, it?s like they cut a regular slice in half and then douse it in sauce so you don?t notice. It?s also frozen solid. Other food looks okay here but really turns you off to pay $6 for a half of a slice of frozen cheesecake.
Big pizza and garlic bread. The penne alla vodka and spaghetti and meatballs with the 2 for 20 deal were also really good!! order here for the first time, would definitely order again and try something new.
