The inside is a lil sketch, but don 't let all that distract you from this gem. The best fried fish I 've had at a restaurant in a while, and that includes the fancy high-end restaurants. The fried chicken was so juicy and crispy. My kid ATE the hell out of the chicken nuggets. When I paid $30 for 2 plates and another $18 for my brother 's, I was kinda upset, thinking that it wasn 't gonna be worth the amount of money to food ratio. Oh no, I was way wrong. This was so much food we could have done just 2 plates for the 3 of us and still have leftovers. The quantity and quality is there. The staff is fast and knew exactly what they were doing.
The delivery was get great. Can 't say the same for the Catfish nuggets. They were atrocious. Very hard to chew and salty. The bread was also loaded with salt and pepper. Never will I order from this site again. Most of my order went into the garbage. 'The nuggets were too hard to consume. I have friends who have had the same experience. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
My fish fillet was okay, my fillet not as plump as usual, and I requested mild sauce and received one hot and one mild. I didn't request hot sauce. I requested lemon pepper and couldn't taste it. Maybe it was just this location
They serve the best rice platters and gyros in Maywood. The staff is friendly as well! Parking can be a bit challenging because of the heavy traffic on Roosevelt, but it's definitely worth the effort.

They have very good fish fried chicken, But I ordered some Gizzards I asked for them to cook them soft. they were cooked too hard !
Had to get my usual when I came home to visit in April 2023 for my Bday! Wing and Gizzard combo extra lemon pepper and mild sauce
