Carmine's Utah - Réservation de table

Lovely ambiance, modern and clean. My wife’s penne was great, my steak was pretty good, not prime but about what I would expect for any restaurant not advertising as a steakhouse. However my carbonara was awful, scrambled eggs and noodles. I sent it back and would have been fine just calling it done at this point, the steak and bread were pretty filling. They wanted to try again, but the server said before giving me the new plate, “if you don’t like this then carbonara is not for you”. Again it was scrambled eggs. Carbonara is my favorite dish, I’m aware of how’s it made and I know what it looks like when you ruin the egg. I put it the dish to the side. Again at this point I was ready to cal...

Wow, that was great. I loved the ambiance that was felt when walking inside. I was all like this is super Italian, my kinda restaurant. I came here on a hot date, scored. Thanks Carmines! I like the cheese options in my pasta, very good. Also the mussels were so delicious. Norah liked the gnocchi. Very good job. Hats off to Diego for stellar service and conversation. Laura was really cool too. Such a great situation all around. I'm psyched, Norah is psyched and the hours are so accommodating. Like Arnold says, we will be back.

Definitely some of the best service I?ve ever had! Our server Fabian was one step ahead of us and knew exactly what we needed before we even got around to asking for it. My daughter ordered a Margarita pizza (which was delicious) and I ordered the gnocchi which was beautifully presented. Just a heads up?portions are on the smaller side and our dessert cakes faired a little on the drier side.

Flies all over we’re so annoying while we were sitting down to our table, which also made it frustrating to eat when the food came. Took awhile to get the food, and when I got my piping hot microwaved lasagna, there was red green food coloring on my plate (as decoration!? which got all over my wrist and hands! Also not the cleanest place. Won’t be back. Service: Dine in Réservez une table maintenant

I?m a regular. For the best experience, dine in. The authentic Italian pizza is to die for, my favorite is the Carmine?s pizza and the capricciosa. The pastas are amazing too, my favorite is the chef pasta and this beauty pictured here, fettuccine allo Scoglio with marinara sauce. Ps. Try the steamed mussels ??

We used to love this place : we were disappointed this time with soggy pizza, and sub par greasy lasagna. The burrata was still delicious though, not sure if it was an off night.

Great place to eat. The food is full of flavor. And the atmosphere is pleasant although it was a bit noisy. I?d still recommend this place! My meal was excellent!
