My wife and I ate at Casa Paulo during our stay at the Parkway Best Western. We had eaten there many times in the past but not in the past years. To our delight nothing had changed. The decor and ambiance were the same...as was the majority of the menu. We had a table in the more formal dining room which we feet is better than the bar area. The pasta meals come with a salad or soup included. I had the Penne alla Paulo and my wife had the Stracciatella soup and a Mediterranean salad all of which were excellent. The wine list is quite extensive and fairly priced. The wait staff are very friendly and experienced. We will certainly dine there again when we visit Cornwall.
We hadn't eaten at Casa Paolo in several years and were anxious to try it again. We made our reservation before we left Ottawa, which was wise, because it was a busy Wednesday night when we visited the restaurant. They had a terrific deal on...the veal marsala, so we couldn't pass it up. The food was delicious and the portions were quite generous. Service was also excellent. Good choice for travellers staying at the nearby Best Western, where we stayed, but it's best to make a reservation at least one day in advance for any night that the restaurant is open.
My husband and I had our anniversary dinner here on Saturday night (Nov and were so pleased with everything. Lovely ambiance, romantic lighting and the food was all delicious. We had the caesar salad, cream of broccoli soup, chicken cardinale and chicken parmigiana and...it was all beautifully presented and tasted great. The Bailey's cheesecake was fresh and flavourful. Our server Katie was polite, professional and had a lovely, friendly personality--thank you for the great service and thanks to everyone for a lovely evening!
On marked a yr absence of this amazing Italian rest due to where we resided. We recently move to the Cornwall area and stepped into this rest once again. Cathy remembered us from yrs past which simply added to the warmth of this...fine evening. The of us are in our and the service,food was exceptional down to the last bite. Cathy and her team are on the spot and make this such an enjoyable dinning experience . Without question we will be returning to savor more of their fantastic dishes. . Réservez une table maintenant
Four adults went for a special dinner. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the server was very pleasant, but that's about all I can say for this place. The waitress seemed overworked as she kept forgetting things. The food was mediocre, without too much flavour and...the vegetables were VERY VERY al dente .. Two of the four of us experienced stomach problems shortly after the meal. Four meals and four glasses of house wine for is I think a bit much for Cornwall .
Stopped in Cornwall overnight on our way to Quebec City. Little did we know that this gem of a restaurant was almost across the street from our hotel. It came highly recommended and with good reason. Every aspect from the warm greeting to the menu,...the wine list, service and finally, the food itself was absolutely amazing! It’s easy to see why this restaurant appears to be so popular.
I have been eating at Casa Paolo since my family moved to Cornwall over years ago. It remains one of my favourite Restaurants and never disappoints. The service is always on point and that pasta is the best in town! Consistently impressive Réservez une table maintenant
