I've been visiting Chad's since the late '80s. My late grandmother used to take me there frequently when they were located on Route 138. I fell in love with their chowder right away, even though I was never really a fan of fish as a kid. Although my grandmother passed away many years ago, dining there brings back fond memories of her and the enjoyable times we shared over a meal.
Little shack with a big surprise, the food was amazing. The fried crab cakes were so delicious. Clam and seafood chowder were great as well. I would recommend a stop here.
Went there today! Delicious chowder, clam cakes, and stuffed quahogs!! And the women working there was so sweet ????
