Second time we've eaten here...never again. The share plates are rediculously expensive and very small. If you wanted to share with four people the duck spring rolls (which are very small) woukd set you back $36 for six small pieces. The tables in some Instances are so small you have eat of the share plates which is so rediculous. My husband had diaorreagh and I got quite ill after eating here. We were both lucky we made it through the show and back to the Gold Coast. The calamari was very poor...very tiny bits mostly crumbs...come on guys get a grip. Terrible terrible terrible,....close your doors and think again.,,.get some decent chefs...reopen with a new innovative menu and stop ripping...
Flew into Brisbane this morning and caught the train into Southbank looking for a quick brekky. Found this place nearby however on Zomato it said it was closed on a Sunday. Happened to walk past the restaurant accidentally and it was open. Sat down and ordered coffee which was pretty standard however the food was superb. Nothing on the menu for a vegan however after a quick chat with the waitress, she managed to get the chef to show off his skills and prepare one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. A piece of sourdough topped with, grilled capsicum, fried mushrooms, onion, tomato and rocket. When back in this neck of the woods I'll definitely return.
We arrived and sat for ten minutes before one of our group approached the staff and waited another 5 minutes for a menu, it was about 1120am by then and we realised we had been given the lunch menu, we asked if we could have the breakfast menu and we were told that only lunch would be available (but that it would not be available until 1130) when we all decided on what would work from the lunch menu we waited another ten minutes, no one approached the table so I went to order by standing up and was ignored for a further 5 minutes so our group of 5 left and ate at the French Festival. Perfecto location, perfect weather but appalling customer service.
We arrived early in the morning at Brisbane and visiting Southbank. Sat down just next to the "Brisbane Eyes" and having a cup of great coffee. The latte art is very nice. The breakfast we ordered scrambled egg and muffin. Despite it was a raining day, the view and view are inspiring !

This was the worst experience. The man who served the coffee ( bold guy with the beard) was so rude to me. He seems to be not enjoying his job. I just ordered a coffee and he spoke to me rudely. I'm from Melbourne and this gives a really bad impression on Brisbane. Not recommending this pace to anyone.
I'm super fussy. Jackson(manager) understood & helped me choose from their very good menu without getting fazed. My daughter & I had a great reasonably priced pre-theatre meal. We especially liked the rice pudding with rhubarb mmmmm. Thank you guys. We will return!!!
Great brekkie spot. Good coffee and very nice food. Service very good. Best spot to sit is outside watching the world go by. Recommend the Brekkie Wrap and the Mushrooms.
Great location at South bank near the Performing Arts Complex. Friendly staff who provide great service and assistance to the diners.

Couldn't clear tables, couldn't take orders, staff more interested infighting with each other than paying any attention to customers.
