I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars. I went for lunch by myself on Thursday, March 28th. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the "fake news" wrapping paper (Zomato keeps deleting my photo of it, sorry). They did not provide free lemon. I ordered 1 flake for $7, which was nice with clean batter, but slightly oily. Overall it was good, crunchy around the edges, with lots of broken pieces in the parcel (my friend likes these crunchy bits, I don't). We also had 2 spud cakes for $1.10 each, which were smallish but we got a freebie. They were okay, with thin bits of spud but an okay batter ratio. The minimum chips for $4 was a generous serving of nice, clean chips. Mainly a good size shape,...
I highly recommend this restaurant! The fried fish is always cooked perfectly and fresh. The chips with cheese and gravy are also delicious, with the gravy being thick enough to coat the chips well. It's commendable that the owners do such a good job. However, it's disappointing for customers who order through the app because sometimes the restaurant takes themselves off the app when they are busy. Keep up the great work, guys!
Excellent quality fish chip are grate burgers are grate and the oil is always clean ... excellent service recommend the chicken souvlaki and the flake and chips truely reminds me of when I was a kid potato cakes and south melbourne market dim sums are a excellent addition ... been going to this place for over 20 years and never disappoints... best local fish shop highly recommend
Had a fish burger and chips last night- oh so delicious! Bun was lovely, fish was cooked perfectly and I like that it’s grilled by default, good amount of lettuce, tomato and sauce too. Very generous portion of chips for 4$! I put my order through via message, they responded promptly and the wait was very reasonable! Very happy customer!

Easily the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. The flake is nice and crispy on the outside, with fresh thick fish on the inside. Not oily like some other shops. Never a dissapointment. Staff are very friendly and polite : So glad I finally found a good and consistent fish and chip shop.<br/ <br/
This is definitely the top fish and chip shop in the area! The fish is incredibly fresh and the chips are absolutely delicious. Everything is consistently crispy and never soggy, and the prices are very reasonable. We visit this place every week because it's just that fantastic.
Best fish and chips in the West and probably in Melbourne. Always consistent. Crispy batter and chips and never greasy. Having proper gravy is a bonus too. Would love it if If you did curry sauce but it's a bit of an ask : Cheers again guys! Keep doing what you're doing!
Been to many fish and chips shop but i gotta say that this place is the best fish and chip shop I've ever been to. Very quality product used! Very fresh, clean good quality tasting oil, portion is great, Please don't ever change!

Loved the food and service. The faux newspaper wrapping topped it off nicely. F C's in my childhood days were wrapped in newsprint which seemed to make them taste better. Thank you.
This is the best fish and chips I have ever had! Got a burger with the lot, potato cakes and chips and it was heaven. Will definitely reorder soon
