All the lake George restaurants have such mixed reviews so it's hard to decide where to try. This place was pretty good. We went for breakfast with 2 kids and an infant. They have a basic kids menu but also cereal which I appreciate because my 8 year old doesn't like average breakfast foods. My husband loved his corn beef hash. Portion wasnt huge but still filling. Only negative was the coffee was not good. It had no flavor. Not sure if they use a cheap brand or it was old but it wasn't good. It's an easy walking distance between hotels. Not much space for parking. Also gets pretty busy by 9 am. Overall we would go back.
Let’s start by saying that the service was adequate. It goes downhill from here. I ordered a French Onions soup which was served barely warm. The server took it back and heated it in a microwave. It was mediocre at best. I love a burger with crumbled blue cheese and bacon so that’s what I ordered. If this was the first time I had one I would never have another. It was terrible. I live in the area but will never eat here again. There are far better places in the area to eat such as Bistro LeRoux, Redicci Kitchen, Morgan and Co., the Full Moon, and others. Live and learn.
We were seated quickly as we had a reservation, our waiter Tom was great and on top of everything. He was knowledgeable about the menu and food, very kind and checked in with is appropriately. The food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Would definitely go there again and would highly recommend. The pricing was good too and they have a variety to choose from so it is affordable if you want a less pricey meal, and they have a higher end such as a wrap with fries up to filet mignon.
My husband, myself and a family friend enjoyed a delicious dinner the other night at Charlie’s. I had the Chicken Marsala which was perfectly cooked. My husband got the Veal Saltambucca which he said was delicious and our guest got the Haddock and she said it was delicious. We have been here many times and would give it very high marks. The service is very good. We never felt rushed. Our sever was friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and specials for the evening.

We got dinner here on the 4th of July and we loved our experience! Its always crazy in the village on the Fourth but we were seated promptly (as a group of 5, we were prepared to wait LOL). The food was awesome and service was great. Rebecca was our server and she was fantastic- very efficient and quick but didn't feel rushed at all! Charlie's just seems to have it figured out. Definitely will be back.
Pleasantly mediocre, foodies look elsewhere. Perfect for Americans that want predictable institutional fare with lackluster service, undercooked potatoes and hash (see photo) and cardboard toast. No offer of coffee or water refill. Sysco condiments.
Laura the hostess is wonderful, very attentive and always smiling. Our server Nico was also great. Nice place to eat on the strip if you're looking more than just the regular bar and grill type of food.
Lake George is 75% closed in the off season, and yet this place was rather packed. Service was excellent, food was nothing to complain about, but not quite delicious. Seating was comfortable.

The prime rib had no flavor at all, and my husband was very disappointed. The other three meals were okay. Compliments to the manager who did not charge for the rub.
We went to Charlie's for a late dinner and it turned out to be the best dinner we had all weekend! We will definitely try again.
