Our dinner at Shepard’s was phenomenal from start to finish! My fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement and could not have picked a better spot to wrap up a very special day. The service was outstanding shout out to our server and the manager Matt for making us feel welcome and snapping a few great photos of us before we left. What’s even more impressive at Shepard’s is the food though. Chef Scott cooked up some incredibly well composed dishes that truly made the night memorable. Beautiful castle-like building, with stunning views overlooking Lake George. PERFECT espresso martini! Four of us had an outstanding time here on July 4th, the only drawback was we couldn’t see the fireworks in town! The food was delicious and service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!
I had a wonderful dinner overall. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was delicious. My only criticism is that I wish there were more shared appetizer options available, as the majority of the options were soup and salad. However, the short rib and filet were absolutely delicious!
In the evening in the erlowest (schuyler suite) for birthday. the evening dinner in shepard’s was wonderful in every sight. that is a jewel of a restaurant and is located in a former lake george victorian home is just a plus. we will return.

Amazing gourmet food! We had an excellent experience. The waiter was so friendly and helpful. We had so much luck eating here and can't wait to go back.
The eggs and toast were delicious. The potatoes and bacon were burnt however. And the waiting time for breakfast a bit slow.
We are in an igloo. Fun and unique experience. Warm and fun! Our waitress was fantastic!
