This was not the special experience that we had hoped for. This is seen as THE place for raclette in the region, and it was even not so easy to get a reservation for this place. The food in general was good, but it was the service that lacked the professionalism and quality I expected from a place like this. Most importantly, I was very surprised to see that one of the people preparing the raclette (which was done on the terrace) was working with bare hands and was scraping of the first bit of cheese with his fingers, on the customer’s plate! In summer or winter, the best raclettes and fondues in the region. The principle of raclette at your discretion: Test 5 AOP cheeses from 5 different producers (this changes regularly), then decide which ones you will use. All this in a magnificent setting and a service that is as welcoming as it is friendly. We came back and we will come back!
Wow. Oh wow. Oh wow. I’ve never had a meal like this. Raclette is like a shaved and melted cheese. Here it’s all from the valley, and paired with a local wine, the meal is heavenly. The pickles were also phenomenal This was fantastic food and environment. Highly recommend.
