Parking: We walked from our hotel, so I'm not sure. Gluttony Expedition Mapo tofu: very authentic flavor with all spices. Quite spicy but tasty! Very big portion easily for 3 people. Highly recommend this newly remodeled Sichuan restaurant in Arcadia. I gave 10 out of 5! It serves Sichuan cuisine that infused with Cantonese cuisine. All food is so fresh and delicious Really enjoyed the new decoration style of this restaurant and loved the new seafood dishes. Service was spectacular and fun place to bring family and friends to eat and party. On top of amazing authentic Sichuan dishes, they also serve Cantonese seafood favorites such as steamed garlic Alaskan king crab, geoduck sashimi and ginger and scallion lobster. Amazing ambience and service. Doesn't matter whether you sit in their 24-seat VIP room, or a couple's table downstairs, you'll be treated like true VIPs.
A group of friends and I visited the newly remodeled Chengdu Impression in Arcadia today, where we reserved their exclusive 24-seat VIP room. We were very pleased with the food, ambiance, and service. This spacious VIP room is ideal for entertaining clients, hosting corporate lunches, or organizing large family gatherings. While there are several Sichuan restaurants in San Gabriel Valley and Orange County, if you’re in search of an upscale yet discreet authentic Sichuan dining experience, the revamped Chengdu Impression in Arcadia is the perfect option.
Best dish I can recommend is the beef tendon and bamboo. This dish had all the glorious numbing spiciness flavors I was looking for, and the bamboo and tendon were so great together. I actually tried to recreate this dish a week or so later, definitely not as good as theirs, but I'm inspired by this combo of crunchy bamboo and tender meat. The dan dan noodles weren't really anything special, so you can skip this one if you're not a big fan of them. I would recommend the dish I mentioned above, and the twice cooked pork. Really tasty! We used to love this restaurant, and still do to a certain degree for their food. Unfortunately, the service is a different story. Please believe all the unpleasant experience people had and wrote here. It's real. The manager guy and staffs used to maintain upscale professionalism, but not anymore. Major downgrade, not even a hole in the wall restaurant level of service. They are not only not attentive, almost don't care about customers. Food is still OK. It's just sad to see good restaurants go down like this.

We got some friends' families made an appointment the legendary largest private room that can accommodate 24 people. The automatic turntable of the big table brought us back to the feeling of being in Chengdu ! The authentic taste of the dishes is full of praise!Great!
After their recent remodel and reopening this month, the restaurant features small tables on the first floor and several VIP rooms on the second floor. The menu has been upgraded to focus on authentic Sichuan cuisine. The service is attentive and courteous, and the atmosphere is clean and serene. If you're seeking a high-end spot to enjoy with friends or to entertain business partners, this is an excellent choice.
