We were promptly seated, which was good. Our waitress, who didn't give her name, was horrible. She didnt know about anything and appeared to make things up as she went. Especially the wine. We're wine educators, so we really just wanted to hear her take on it. The female bartender was horrible. She slammed our bottle of wine down on the table only because we sent a glass of Rosé back to the bar. It wasn't good. There was another young waitress who was a sweetheart and helped us. She, of course, received the tip.
We arrived punctually for our reservation and were seated right away. This time, I ordered the red fish again, and I highly recommend it. The others in my group tried the smoked fried chicken and the pulled pork, and we all enjoyed our meals. I also had mussels as an appetizer, which is among my top two mussel dishes. The atmosphere was lively, with music and conversations filling the air. As always, the service was excellent.
I love this restaurant—good food, great staff, and lovely ambience with live music. Unfortunately, the food service was a bit slow for Mother’s Day brunch. I will be returning:
The live music and drinks were fantastic. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the preparation of the dishes. I will definitely come back again.
