For the first time at Chevys and surprisingly it was not packed at all, especially because we went on a Sunday during the brunch hours! We went in, but the weather is perfect today, so we decided to eat on the terrace, we wanted to sit in the sun, but these tables had no umbrella to cover them, so we sat closer to the TVs near the entrance. Our waitress never gave us her name, but she kept enough attention to make the experience pleasant. The brunch options were a little too random for my pleasure, so I order a Moscow mule of shrimps and Crab Enchiladas (which still had parts of the shell in it) with one side of rice and fried beans (which actually looked like regular beans, but tasted great...
I have often visited this place in the past enough and I always had a pleasant experience. But the last one was my least favorite. My family and I went to Brunch for the first time only with a host who was not friendly or looked like she wanted to be there. No welcome. Our waiter was super nice and friendly that made us feel better quickly. Your service was excellent. The meal was a little long. I guess we were the first customers of the day. All our entrees came hot and were good! The most disappointing part I think was to pay for groundless mimoses for $12 and hardly get half a glass. I've never seen it in other restaurants, and I've almost been meaningless. I think we'll stay at lunch or...
We used to LOVE the Olivette Chevys. Great food, good portion sizes, nice people. We ate there 2-4 times a month and I frequenty took business associates and friends there to eat. Then Corporate took over the management. The food quality is now terrible and the portions have been significantly reduced. The beef taco (there was one tablespoon of greasy ground beef under all of that lettuce) in the photo represents half of a $15 pick 2 dinner and the chips below are what was included in the take out bag for 3 people. I 'll now be trying out different Mexican/Texican restaurants because Chevys Olivette has permanently lost my business.
I had the most terrible days and decided to treat myself to a nice meal. Along came a breath of fresh air and a reason to return, giving bartender Zach. Some people have a crack to spread joy, and this guy was it. Extremely courteous, best cocktail I've ever had, and the kindest and coolest person that could ever meet. I felt like a hotel. The hostess Val and the manager were also very warm and welcoming. Thanks Chevy and Zach.

I went for the Taco Tuesday deal, 3 street tacos for $5. They were pretty good, well worth it. I was served free chips and salsa. I came hungry and ended up eating 3 orders of the tacos and a refill of chips. The salsa was excellent and the chips were fresh. I was extremely full, and I think two orders of tacos would have been a better idea ?.
Zach was a great server and we enjoyed our meal at Chevys. The salmon tacos were delicious! Zach kept us laughing and was very attentive to our needs.
The tostada salad is my favorite menu item!The wait was longer than expected but they are short on staff. Friendly and courteous service!
Had a brunch date. 1st time at this point, Nice I will return....How could I NOT match bottomless Mimosas **** Mary's!
