China Chalet - Réservation de table

So I've been here 3 times in the last 6 months or so. It always surpasses my expectations. The food is fantastic, and has a full drink and bar menu. The service here is so incredibly attentive, I'm often amazed how many staff they have working, I'm betting an average of 15 to 20, in restaurant that isn't huge at all. It's clean as well as beautiful inside and out. I've found it actually quite hard to find a good sit-down upper scale chinese restaurant that takes service, taste and the so important, cleanliness seriously. Hunan Taste does all these in spades. Fantastic place that you should definitely try. While it can be expensive, it's worth it IMO. PS. Try the soup dumplings!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, which features excellent service and a stunning atmosphere. The Chinese food served here is among the best I've ever tasted. Each dish is beautifully prepared and presented, made with fresh ingredients that contribute to the delicious flavors. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are quite reasonable. They offer unique dishes that you typically might only find in Chinatown in NYC, but they're right here in Florham Park! I can't wait to return!

I wish I could give zero stars. Our group of 15 waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes and was completely ignored at first. After 10 minutes, they still couldn't find a table for us, even though half of the restaurant was empty. To make matters worse, the staff was very rude to us. This is unacceptable! We ended up going to another restaurant and will never return here again.

Got a couple recommendations to try this place out. Food is good and very spicy. Service was quick and the waiters gave great suggestions since it was our first time. I’d say my favorite was the 3 pepper chicken. Also, can’t find many places who make dry sautéed string beans as well as China Chalet. Think there’s only one other place I’ve been to that has been this good! Réservez une table maintenant

Wow! Eggplant in garlic sauce, homestyle tofu, noodles, scallion pancakes, steamed dumplings, sesame balls dessert. Just wow! Not too many veggie options but enough for to us come back again and again. Taste of the food was soooo good.

Honestly, I don't think you'll find better Sichuan food in the area, even in Manhattan. All the classic Sichuan dishes are prepared excellently! I haven't tried the standard Chinese dishes yet, but I have no doubt they're just as good!

I've dined here several times and decided to get takeout this time. As always, the food was fresh and packed with flavor. We ordered chicken fried rice, three pepper chicken, tofu with pork, and beef chow fun. Each dish was excellent!

Decent American-Chinese restaurant with consistently savory food and good service. One of our regular lunch spot and their dishes have generous portions and really reasonable prices. Be advised parking is a pain around lunchtime. Réservez une table maintenant

When we entered the restaurant, it was empty, which meant the service was excellent. The dumplings were tasty, but the lo mein wasn't to my taste. Since it was my first visit, I plan to make a special trip back in the future.

This place was recommended by one of my work colleagues. They did not disappoint us. The was delicious!
