TL;DR: We have ourselves something that goes above and beyond, and is possibly even a special treat. It is not very often that something where everything is firing on all cylinders makes such an apparent appearance, and it is even rarer that it is readily accessible and does not feel exclusive or anything. Many words could be used to describe here, but the best course of action is to book it in sometime and enjoy what is in store.  Indicative of glories from the past, and indicative of a recurring chapter in redeveloping the inner city comes of the biggest up-and-coming winners to Brisbane's dining scene. Chu The Phat is a beautiful venue with upstairs, downstairs and outside laneway dining options. A gorgeous modern, asian fitout. Menu here has a great selection and banquets on offer too. The servicing sizes here are good and flavours leaning more towards spicy. Dumplings are good, their fried rice is beautiful. Some dishes were ok without being great though. The beef stir fry (which we didn't order, but got) was chewy and dry). Staff are friendly and helpful although they can be far between so you can go wanting some times. Worth a visit but just be patient

Very impressed. The venue was stylish with an open kitchen upstairs, lots of space inbetween the tables. Friendly, relaxed and helpful wait staff. The food was very good. Poached chicken salad sweet corn dumplings were superb and came out very timely. Brown fried rice, nanny chilli chicken stir fried chicken fantastic. So much food we had to take a doggy bag home. We will definetly be returning to try some more Asian fusion street food. Réservez une table maintenant

We came here with our family. Great service and so kind and accommodating. The flavours were really nice and we enjoyed our meal. They can accommodate to gluten-free foods. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was fantastic. Unfortunately the gluten-free menu was a little bit small. However we still managed to order all our meals from that menu. We did find that it was a little bit expensive.

Chu The Phat has a vibrant evening atmosphere. Asian fusion menu with Thai, Malay and Chinese influences. Came here with a large group and we ordered the $45 banquet which was good value and filling. All of the food was delicious with the barramundi and the chilli chicken as the standout dishes. Service was friendly and efficient, even with a large group like ours.

Good but not great fusion restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere and decoration located in Fish Lane. Food is average only. Has entertainment book discount which is a bonus. Price is good considering the location. Friendly staffs but service was ok only as the was a long wait for the main after finishing the entree. Clean and well maintained. Generally recommended.

We had dinner on Valentine's Day and my wife and I ordered the banquet for 2. WOW, what a feast. The service was quick and the food was sensational. So many different plates of food and they were all so tasty. Safe to say we were very full when we walked out but so worth it. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Will definitely be back.
