We came here for our 10 year anniversary, and it was phenomenal. Nicolas was our server, and he 's an absolute gem he gave us suggestions about the menu, was super engaging, and was the cherry on top of what was an overall great experience. Several notes: The cucumber basil martini was perfection and should never leave the menu. The spicy tuna crispy rice are top notch(as good as I 've had in both Vancouver BC and NYC). The seared jumbo scallops on green pea risotto were fantastic and definitely something to add to your list of must try here. Buttery scallops alongside the sweet, fresh notes of the peas in combination with the tart balsamic glaze really made this a wonderfully balanced dish....
My family and I recently stopped by for lunch. I am learning how to eat out with some pretty intense food sensitivities (borderline allergies). I looked over the menu before going and decided the options would likely mostly meet my dietary restrictions. When we got there I asked our waitress Mary if a specific ingredient was used in their heavy whipping cream to make a sauce. She went and checked with the chef and also made sure the other ingredients in the meal were okay for me. Thanks to her thoroughness I discovered another ingredient in the sauce I couldn’t have and hadn’t suspected to be in it. She took the time to request modifications to the meal for me and over all my food turned out...
Wonderful place for lunch or dinner in downtown Newport! Particularly enjoyed the dungy crab burrata, and the kids' sliders are a hit. Good wine list, and the cocktails sound good, but we're usually there for lunch, so I have yet to try them. You can see the sea lions outside from most of the upstairs tables, though they may be a little loud if you sit on the patio in summer. Parking: They have a dedicated parking lot across the street, but it only has 12 spots. We've always been able to easily park there, but haven't visited at peak times. Kid-friendliness: The kid sliders are a hit, crayons and ocean themed coloring page.
Everything was cooked to perfection. The scallops were amazing. Seating overlooks the water and sea lions. A dedicated parking lot across the street ensures easy parking. Easy to walk to from the other shops/boutiques on this street. Very nice staff. Updating since 2 yrs ago: This place is still awesome. It is multi-level and has outdoor seating. They sometimes have a catch-of-the-day with gnocci on the menu and it is so delicious. Always friendly professional servers. Highly recommend! If you're going to the Aquarium, this restaurant is right across the bridge.

They seemed to be out of a lot of drink options. I tired ordering a pomegranate drink but they were out. Also overheard the server tell another table they were out of another drink. I really enjoyed my meal of shrimp Alfredo. My husband ordered the wild burger. He really enjoyed it as well but there were a couple parts that were a little too undercooked for his liking.
