THANK YOU COCKEYE BBQ. All four of us had never been here. I picked it for my birthday based on seeing it on WFMJ and buying the ice cream at Wedgewood in Austintown. We told the very nice young lady at the register that we had never been here before, and she could not have been nicer or more patient. Food absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. And then we went outside and found the ice cream stand, and we were all just blown away. Thanks for a wonderful birthday, we came from Hermitage and will certainly be back soon. Did I say the food is spectacular? Visited several times now. We can't get enough. Food is consistently way off the chain excellent
Ok, I am not a big bbq person. However, I will say this was amazing food here. I will give credit where its due. I got mac and cheese, greens, baked beans. For meat I did the brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken it had great flavor. They had quit few sauces to choose from. The staff and owner are friendly. It's well kept. Clean environment. Decent size parking area. Ohhh and they have a creamery right next door that is absolutely amazing ice cream. I got butter pecan and little man got cotton candy flavor it was great.
As for the sides, the cheesy potatoes didn’t have nearly enough cheese for their name. However, the cheesy grits were exactly what they claimed to be and were quite delicious. The highlight of our meal was definitely the baked beans. At over $40, this might be our only visit, but I encourage others to give it a try!
Their chili has beans, but we'll overlook that because their BBQ and sides are incredibly delicious! The staff is friendly, and I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for some tasty BBQ.

Best Ribs ice cream around! The ice cream is so good we even sought some out at the local giant eagles! The ribs are tender and the baked beans were the bomb!

Brisket and pulled pork are always great, as are the cheesy potatoes and the collard greens. Always happy when finished.
Great spot, we had pulled pork, Ribs, brisket, and kids nuggets. Went next door for ice cream which was also 5 star!
