This is my local ColdStone, and I really appreciate having it available for those occasional sweet cravings! Yes, this particular location is staffed by teenagers. Since this is likely a part-time or seasonal job for them, I don’t expect 16 to 18-year-olds to provide five-star service without any mistakes. Sometimes it's clear that this is their first job, and that’s perfectly fine! We should all remember that these young employees are learning on the job and gaining valuable experience. Went to cold stone to buy a birthday cake today. I've bought multiple cakes here before since I live nearby and I usually think it's worth the steep price of $50 for a round cake but today I came in and there was 2 girls working. 1 of the girls was helping a customer and the other girl apparently didn't see me and I stood around for a few minutes until she saw other customers walk in and THEN she saw me. That was pretty terrible. On top of that, they both didn't know how to write happy birthdays on a cake? Again for $50 and a blank canvas on the cake, they should all be trained on how to write happy birthday or at least provide the icing to do so. I'll have to drive to a bakery or Porto's ne...
My family and I typically visit this Cold Stone location, but last week I sent my husband to pick up my usual Coffee Lover ice cream. As I sit here tasting it while writing this review, I'm disappointed to find that there are no toppings in it. I was expecting almonds and Heath bar pieces, but all I got was plain coffee ice cream. It's no surprise that my husband called me while he was ordering to ask what I wanted in my Coffee Lover. The staff should already know how to make a Coffee Lover ice cream since it's clearly listed on their menu!
My husband and I went for the first time on 10/15. Paid cash and was shorted $1.00 of my change. I have been trying to get my $1.00 for 3 days of calling but no one there is in charge? The owner was texted my number and has ignored the issue. It's not the money as much as principle that no one knows how to count back change. The employees just hand you a bunch of bills/ change with no clue what they are giving you? I will never return to such a shady establishment.

Great service! I wanted to buy an ice cream cake and also enjoy my small ice cream. The employee said she would put the ice cream cake in the back so no one else would purchase it because I had already paid for it. There was no one there when I wentso I was able to enjoy my ice cream then take the cake when I was done, very helpful!
Ice cream was actually really good, lots of flavors and mixtures you can make. Only issue I really had was the price, kind of pricey for ice cream. 5.99 for a super small cup 6.99 for a small cup and like 7.99 for a normal sized cup.
Cheesecake Fantasy is my favorite dessert spot! I recommend ordering the "Gotta Have It" size and sharing it with a friend. Plus, Costco offers discounted digital gift certificates, which is a great bonus!
This place really turned around after the new owners took over. So many more cakes to choose from and ice cream flavors taste more fresh!
