You will love this charming hotel and its friendly staff. The atmosphere here is amazing. When you walk into The Commodore, it is like you're walking into a simpler time only with modern amenities such as wifi and electric car chargers. Start the morning with the free continental breakfast, then off to enjoy your day! Get a pic with the statue of Minnie Pearl, then take a kayak trip on the Buffalo River, fish the Tennessee River, or hit the Natchez Trace Parkway for a scenic drive. In the evening, come back for dinner, and if you're lucky, you can catch some live music. Then, stroll into The Speakeasy for drinks or just sit outside, enjoy the view of the courthouse, and watch the cars go by....

I've really come to love visiting Linden, TN, and the Commodore Hotel feels like the center of everything. The staff is incredible and friendly, the food is delicious, and even the owners were there making sure everyone was well taken care of. The building is a cool piece of history and also a good place to hear some live music (not so loud you can't talk! . Don't pass up the kayaking tour if you have time, and be be sure to check out all the shops around it. I saw unique jewelry one place, good prices on clothing at another, and an art consignment shop that really makes the town soulful. If you're looking for a vibrant little town surrounded by natural beauty, go stay at the Commodore Hotel...

Love, love, love the Commodore and the friendly people who own it and work there! Have stayed several times, visited for lunch, and attend the music concerts every Friday, which are phenomenal. Wonderful food is available, including salmon, burgers, tasty apps, etc. Sovy, the very friendly server, will take good care of you! There is a speakeasy on the other side with bartender Crystal who will make you a most exceptional martini. Check with the Commodore if you're planning on attending concerts in the fall, as they do discontinue those events at some point through the winter months. The lovely little town of Linden is so fortunate to have such a gem.

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed. No warm or hot water to shower in for 2 days. Windows were filthy and unable to see out. It was 92 degrees outside but inside with the air on felt awful and the sheets felt wet. There were missing shower hooks and bugs on the floor in the bathroom. Also there was an electrical strip when I picked it up to plug in my phone was very wet. Plus no ice which was much needed with the temperature outside was over 90. And in addition there is nothing to see or do there.

Room was ok but the bed was like sleeping on a board. The door to the room felt VERY insecure and had a 3 inch gap at the bottom with only a twist lock on the handle. Large cracks in the ceiling and a terrible amateur hole repair on the tub. We were going to stay paid for 2 nights but there was just no way. Restaurant and bar were both closed as well. The front desk was unmanned unless you called someone but the guy that checked us in was very nice even offered to help carry our luggage up the stairs.

This charming inn offers a quiet get away from city life. We stayed mid-week as part of a mini vacation. Convenient to the Buffalo River, the town has cute shops and restaurants. The hotel is like stepping back in time, but has modern amenities such as WiFi and satellite TV. If you want to unwind, a few days spent in Linden will help.

Historically Hotel done up right. If you like old hotels you need to stay here. The room was great with comfortable bed. Bath and shower was great. The restaurant and bar area made the stay even better. Best meal on our trip and the cocktails were great also. Will stay again Réservez une table maintenant

?Friendly Kathy, the owner, checked us in and without asking, she gave us an upgrade to room #18. ??Clean and comfortable with all the amenities. ?? Good water pressure and hot water. ??Reasonable rates for a large studio suite. ??Complementary continental breakfast.
