Cooper's Hawk Winery Downers Grove

We had 6:30 reservations. Didn't sit down until 7:15. They said they called my name. Definitely need a sound system instead of yelling names in a loud area. Food is always good. I think our server was pretty new. Didn't refill our wine decanter. She was pretty busy though. Maybe short staffed just like a lot of restaurants.

I had a reservation for seating in the bar. They brought us upstairs for high top seating, which I did not request. It took another 10 minutes to then find us a table. We had a problem with the bill, which was worked out with the manager.

Our server, Zach, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He was a pleasure to have serving us and we will definitely be requesting him when we return.

We had a wonderful lunch and our server was friendly and attentive. We were able to stay and converse without being rushed out.
