"Very friendly staff, welcoming on arrival to both us and our doberman. Couldnt have done more for us during our stay. Rooms were to a good standard considering pets stay in them. Everything in the room worked. Food was nice. Good location."

I recently stayed at the Corbyn Head Hotel for the first time and had a wonderful weekend in Torquay. Our experience was not affected by our hotel accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, we requested a room change because the one we were given, which was near the railway line at the back of the hotel, felt a bit dark. They accommodated our request without any issues, and the new room was much brighter and more beautiful. It offered excellent value for money. Although the hotel is rated 3 stars, the breakfast was worthy of 5 stars! They definitely need to keep the cook; the presentation and cleanliness in the dining room were impressive. Overall, it’s a great hotel.
The staff at this hotel is exceptional, working diligently to ensure a pleasant experience for guests. Unfortunately, the property itself feels outdated and in need of rejuvenation. If the owners were to invest some strategic time and effort into revitalizing the hotel, it could greatly enhance its appeal. The breathtaking views and numerous possibilities present significant potential for this establishment. However, it is crucial for the owners to take the necessary steps to make this a reality.
The service and the food were excellent. The room we stayed in could use a bit of a deep clean and some updates in the bathroom. Overall, it was very good value for money. We plan to return in October and hope for a better room and bathroom, but we do hope the staff and food will maintain their high standards. It was nice not to have to choose our breakfast, as it was ordered and served at the table, which is quite rare these days. Doug and Beverley.
this hotel is booked on groupon for 2 nights, which includes breakfast and dinner on an evening. Although the hotel looks a little tired, the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for them. Sunday dinner was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. there was no great choice to breakfast, but enough to satisfy them would recommend. Réservez une table maintenant
