It was pretty good, but it didn't quite compare to what I had in Beijing, which I was gently warned about in advance. Ironically, I found the crispier crepe not to my liking, even though I typically prefer crispy textures. I remembered that the traditional ones served in Beijing are soft on the outside. Another aspect that wasn't as good as in China was the crispy filling. In China, they fry those fresh in the morning, whereas at Corgi Jianbing, they use packaged wonton crisps (though I think some nacho chips might be a tasty alternative). I give it 3 stars just because the ordering system is so confusing and slow. If it were better, this would easily be 5 stars.You can order in person, via chowbus by scanning a QR code, or by phoneand then pay by cash, by Zelle, or by Venmo.There's no clear line and if you order by the app, you still have to get in line which is weird. And then for Zelle and Venmo payments, you have to show an image of your payment which is both easy to cheat and also confusing.I would recommend they have a single line, order in person, and pay by card or cash like almost everywhere else. I get a jian bing from here at least once a week! It’s great for breakfast or a light lunch, and I highly recommend jing style with spicy sauce, an extra egg, pork floss, corn. Service is always great, and the food comes out quickly definitely give it a try! I know it’s not the cheapest compared to some options in Flushing, but for the food quality and service, I think it’s super worth it. $10-15 for a jianbing (chinese savory crepe). There’s the original crispy style more similar to a crepe and a softer jing style that’s more eggy. Corgi Jianbing is my go to breakfast spot. The jianbing is always delicious and the guys who run the cart are super nice. They always give good suggestions for combos and are super quick. I seriously go almost every day ??

The restaurant was excellent. It successfully passed the essential jianbing test: 1. the bing holds all the ingredients together perfectly, and 2. it has a well-balanced texture that is both soft and crispy.

This is a great spot to satisfy your Jian Bing craving without having to travel all the way to Flushing for the authentic version. Make sure to arrive early, as their ingredients tend to run out quickly!
