Had two excellent meals at this restaurant in the heart of Oxford. The welcome and service we received from Sam and his staff was terrific the extent that we decided to have another evening there for our last of three nights in Oxford. We reserved a table for 7-30 but arrived to find the restaurant packed as many were eating prior to going to the theatre. My mother, brother and I had a brilliant dinner on Wednesday 29th! Our waiter Thomas was incredibly attentive especially as we had a loud large party seated next to us. They dealt with it incredibly well, didn't let it affect our meal at all and compensated us for the slight inconveniece. The food was absolutely delicious especially the steaks which were perfectly cooked. The drinks were excellent, my mother had red wine and I had 3 lovely cocktails. Afterwards we chatted to the staff which enhanced our experience as they were all happy to engage in really nice conversation. This’s chain of restaurants offers a good choice of food, spanning from duck to tuna fish. Great are the lamb, the Camembert and the meats in a wide range of proposals. Normal/generous servings and a great selection of wines by the glass, small or medium, and the bottle. Don’t miss the desserts and the typical French board of cheeses to close your dinner. Book in advance, and pray your neighbours are not excited loud speakers
Reiterating others excellent reviews, welcomed, such friendly efficient service. Lots of smiles from Anna and Camila who looked after us very well as did the maitre'd. Six of us, well five, had excellent meals. The sixth had a fillet steak that did not live up to its price. Deducted from the bill with full-some apologies. Will definitely return if only to enjoy the happy atmosphere!

10/10 service, we have 2 recovering alcoholics in the family, of which we told our waiter, Tommy. He was AMAZING, so considerate of both of the people we were with, he gave us a tablet with the ingredients used so we could see what had alcohol in it. Food was incredible, but for all of us how considerate Tommy was made it so good!
We had previously dined at Cote Oxford and had a great experience, but this time was exceptional. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite living abroad and not having visited in a while, we were thrilled to receive such a warm reception upon our return. Such lovely people.
Went for dinner after a day out in Oxford. From start to finish the service was fabulous! Felt so well looked after. The food was excellent, steak cooked perfectly my other half said the lamb was one of the best dishes he’s had in a while, followed by a great cheese board. A fabulous Friday evening!
We are two couples in for an early pre-theatre dinner. It was bustling, the food great and the staff wonderful. Very accommodating. Swift so we could make the show, but not rushed . Perfect.

We booked last minute as online would not let us book a table . Couldn't fault food and service . Great manager who fitted us in and was friendly and fun . Young guy with glasses !
Worst service and food ever We Got asked to pay the bill before we asked for the bill never in my life has that happened!
