Country Gables Cafe

I am plant-based. There's nothing plant-based on their menu. I requested a sandwich minus the meat and cheese. The waiter checked with the kitchen staff and came back and said no. They would not accommodate my request. The other people in our group ordered off their menu. Their food was mediocre quality and portions. Their prices are comparatively high for what they offer. Based on ky visit, I don't know why anyone would patronize this place.

We have been going here for years. Staff is always friendly. I gave a 3 star due to pricing. They are on average $15-20 per person with out drinks. Compared to other local cafes they are on the higher side. I looked at the menus of other places and found $12.95 per person was their average. We like to support our local places but we wont be coming as much due to pricing. Spending $100 for 4 people for breakfast is just crazy.

Great breakfast! Chicken fried steak was perfect! Will go back! Prices for the daily special was excellent.
