Crystal Cafe & Restaurant

I couldn't tell if it was the owner or one of the full time waiters, maybe they are the same person. but if you want to come here for a quiet afternoon meal. FORGET IT!!! once the above mentioned children and the friends arrive (maybe...8 of them) the pleasant atmosphere you might expect from a cafe or restaurant is gone. Either they are using whatever table they want to do their homework (at the top of their lungs) or they are running around like headless chickens outside, screaming. I don't think they know what whisper means. if you come on a busy evening the said children are running around outside. It just ruins the atmosphere. its disgusting. it puts you off going back. it puts you off...

this caffe is located on a corner and has exterior, as well as interior. we enjoyed sitting on an outside table while sitting at a clear Friday night in the truppet of the pedestrian life of the shopping center. the dinner menu had a good selection of meals, which for most taste directions. I ordered lachs (which was delicious), and my partner ordered a steak, also perfectly cooked to its requirements. the location of this caffe is very comfortable, and eating is well presented and good priced. they will call again when they are in waterloo.

My wife and I stayed in the Waterloo suburb for 7 nights and used this restaurant 4/5 times. Good service, friendly staff, Kim in particular is lovely and the menu, although not extensive is all good. Wine decent but I would have liked to have...seen an Australian beer on tap. All great value for money. Highly recommended.

Had dinner at Crystal as we were staying at the Meriton and it is just a short walk from hotel. Staff were friendly especially Crystal who looked after us very well. We went back the next morning for breakfast, once again very pleased with service...and food Réservez une table maintenant

Great food, good wine. Staff were attentive to our requests, and quick to make changes to meet our requests. We were the last group still chatting, and there was no pressure to leave. Well worth a return visit. (It was a return visit for my...colleagues)

The woman who waited on us was extremely friendly, attentive to our preferences, and checked on us regularly. She always had a smile on her face and made our dining experience one to remember. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. XXX.

Thought I might have a snack and some coffee while catching up on some work. I asked for a table near a power point. I could even see one. The extremely sullen person behind the could just said no! NiCE.

I live nearby and dine at this restaurant regularly. The food and wine are both excellent, as well as the service. There is a great variety of dishes to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable. Réservez une table maintenant

Sue is a fantastic host and really sets the atmosphere at this restaurant. My friend Nat and I always enjoy coming back here - it never disappoints. A reliable choice in the neighborhood.

Loved this place so much we went 2 nights in a row. Staff lovely, food to die for and the prices were amazing!! Try the parmy....it’s huge!! Definitely go back again
