I haven't tried every single burrito in Carrollton... but gosh, these have got to be the best. Coming from a vegetarian perspective, this place is awesome. I've only ever ordered burritos. The beans are devious, flavorful, and Truly vegetarian; the owner makes sure to mention that there is no animal fat every time I order. He really cares about the food he puts out, he is proud to serve what he serves, and it shows. His food is heartfelt. I don't even live in the area anymore; I live an hour away, but circumstances provide that I am in the area every once in a while and when it's lunchtime, as long as I don't wait too long and he is still open, it's no question where my lunch is going to be.
Dj's was my go to place for lunch for several years. My office was just across the street. Now it's become a once a week habit for me.Food always delicious and satisfying. All organic and homemade.A gem that has been in this corner strip for years while other places come and go. The loyal group of regular customers know what I'm talking about.My favorite the Supreme Taco. Love the tortilla soup but sadly on the menu only when the weather turns cold. Salmon tacos, fajitas, it's all delicious.You will also find the best burgers you can imagine so try that sometime as well.Just one caution, try it once and you will be hooked!
As for the food, it was tasty. I ordered a fajita plate and appreciated the flavors. It’s not mind-blowingly good, but they are clearly doing something right. Since opening in 1991, they’ve become one of the oldest establishments in Addison, attracting a large regular crowd who all know each other by name. They converse with him like they’ve been friends forever. A huge thumbs up for this place! If he ever leaves, it would be a truly sad day.
Do not eat here. The food is NOT good quality and whoever the person is that manages the place is rude. To be honest, the service and food here is not good at all. I will never go back. I had just started a job in the area decided to give it a try to help small business. The manager was so abrasive. I gave him a second chance and same result. Never again! I got the bacon, egg cheese sandwich. Let me start by saying, he is really nice. I appreciate that he uses real eggs and he seasons the egg. With that being said..the sandwich isn’t worth the price. $6.50 1 egg and 3 very thin slices of bacon between 2 pieces of giant Texas toast. I definitely recommend using english muffins or smaller pieces of bread
