This restaurant makes me feel like I'm back home in NYC back in the day when Italian food was Italian and not American Italian. Need I say more. Oh, and the bread is brought in from NY and is like Mamma used to make. One note of interest. We have a home in Portugal and eat octopus (polvo) regularly when in Portugal. Here, we have yet to find anyone who knows how to cook it like the Portuguese...until now. Tender, not rubbery and tough, grilled to perfection and the veal chop was stunning. Here's a gem! I traveled for work all over the country, but I am in long island, ny and not only was this the best Italian cuisine I had outside ny, but it was also the most authentic. the service is phenomenal. as most are recommended, the veal chop is amazing. perfectly cooked and juicy as a huck. they feel like home when they go in. my friend was so happy that I brought her here. highly recommended.

I judge restaurants by eating pasta carbonara. It was not on the menu however they made the dish for me and it certainly did not disappoint. My wife and I found a new Italian restaurant here in northern Virginia. The bad thing is we have lived in northern Virginia close to 30 years and I can’t believe we never had a meal here!
