Yesterday was the first time I stopped at this place, despite having driven by it numerous times. I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience. The staff and management were incredibly friendly. However, what really blew my mind—and the main reason for this review—was the level of care put into the food preparation. I’m not sure I’ve ever ordered anything from a fast food chain that looked as good as it did in the pictures. Let me tell you, every item I ordered could easily have been featured in a promotional photo. The buns were fresh, tall, and perfectly rounded (not squished). The treats here were fantastic. The service was a bit slow, which usually wouldn't bother me, especially since it seemed they had some new staff. What really upset me, though, was how the server treated the cook so poorly in front of customers. Instead of offering help, she publicly belittled him. That was really unfortunate. Being a team player should definitely be emphasized in training.
This restaurant has become overly expensive, and they can't even fulfill orders correctly. I asked for a specific topping on my ice cream, which I know incurs an extra charge, but they completely left it off. I doubt I'll be going back. This isn't just a one-time issue for me; problems like this happen often, and it's simply not worth it. I'd much rather drive to Norwood instead.
The Blizzards we got were incorrect. I asked for a large water due to the heat, but they charged me for a large soda instead. I don’t understand why I had to pay $2.79 for water when it should have been free or at least just the cost of the cup!

The new owners appear to be fantastic! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is great. Our chicken strips were crispy, and the fries were served hot. We’re hoping this will remain a go-to stop for us when we travel to and from the cities.
A perfect opportunity to reminisce about childhood and enjoy a Dilly Bar. The food is consistently great, prepared just right, and served with a smile or a friendly joke. The owner/manager is fantastic. An excellent choice overall.

Best Dairy Queen in Minnesota. Always friendly, food is fresh, and the owner has done an amazing job training her people. Always a great experience!

Stopped in today for the first time since change in ownership. Our food was hot and fast! They have scheduled hours now and our service was great!
The restaurant closes at 8 PM on a Friday during the summer. What kind of restaurant does that? A very poorly managed one.
