This Dairy Queen has amazing Blizzards! However, I wish they weren’t so pricey—it's about $6 with tax for a small. Still, it definitely satisfied my craving for a Blizzard. After enjoying many in Canada, I was thrilled to find several locations near my home. I tried the brownie dough Blizzard, and it did not disappoint. It had a fantastic balance of mix-ins that were evenly distributed throughout the cup. They far surpass McFlurries, which are often poorly mixed by the staff. I’m giving this place 4 stars because I took the time to download their app and create an account, only to discover that they don’t accept any vouchers and don’t allow mobile orders. So, the app is pretty much pointless...
Dairy Queen! In case you’re not familiar, Dairy Queen (often abbreviated as DQ) is an American chain known for its soft serve ice cream. If you're looking for affordable, very sweet soft-serve ice cream with an amazing selection of toppings, DQ is the spot to hit. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is delightfully sweet. I always suggest going for the smallest size, as even that comes with a generous portion. Just keep in mind that there’s no seating inside, so you’ll either have to sit on the floor or eat in your car. Alternatively, you can take a short drive to the nearby Overpeck Park to enjoy your treat.
A Teaneck landmark at this point. These classic standalone 3 season mini Dairy Queen locations are becoming more and more rare so thankfully this location has been lovingly maintained through the years. It has been a family owned mom and pop franchise that has been hiring local teens for the decades it has been open. It's not uncommon to see three or four generations stopping for a treat on hot summer evenings. It's a Dairy Queen but it tastes better because it's served by people you know.
Usually long lines at this popular meeting place that do not reflect on the fast and polite people who build your leaks behind the windows. DQ is the best quality soft... Nothing else is thicker. Photos show that some of their outdoor lighting replace and need maintenance.
